New Years Eve

Well, New Years is almost here (well, about 3 hours away in Idaho) and I’m bored. How can someone be bored on new years eve? Ask me. My sister is in the very small town of Pine, Idaho. My stepbrother is in Los Angeles. My stepsister is in New York. My brother, very sadly is up in his room, door shut, playing Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox Live. I have been offered a movie by my dad and stepmom, but (just my luck) I have already seen it. That really made me mad because it was such a great movie when I saw it I would of loved to watch it. They lock thereselves into their room at about 9:00 each night. My dad has been sympathetic though, so I guess thats nice. I try to imagine the whole family here: my stepbrother Mitch our room playing video games, my stepsister Melissa watching the New Years Eve Countdown in New York City, and my sister, doing who knows what. Well, I’ll have to deal with it. have a good New Year’s Eve

Making Some Changes

As you can see, I have cleaned up the theme to a fine showcase of simplicity. It should be easier to get around now. the theme is called “future soda”. Love it. I also created a new blog called “The WWII Photographs”, which I should be posting a new picture eve rday either from britannica archives or just around the web. You always see futuristic movies and shows based off WWII, but you never see the actual thing. A movie camera in that war was too rare. but, seeing the real pictures strikes you a little bit more. well, hope you visit it! The link is on the top of the page, by the title (If I ever make any more blogs, they should be listed up there).

Bored (out of my mind)

Gosh! I am so dang bored. I don’t have anything else to share. Well, maybe. I saw ‘The Hangover’ today (I know I should be underlining this but unfortunately tumblr is doing some hardware upgrading and “CTRL+U” is not working) and played Left for Dead 2. I already beat Modern Warfare Two on Hard, so now I have to play this. It should be easy, because I beat Left for dead Uno (one, sorry). Oh, I also have a buddy that does this all with me. It’s Matt Albanese. He’s my video game buddy. Well, back to The Hangover. It was a really funny movie and I totally recommend it, but the humor in is not supposed to be necessarily for a “blond”. The humor in it is really intelligent; in a sense the whole movie is kind of a really-easy-to-figure-out inside joke. but humor that is hidden is probably the most funny humor, thats why I loved the movie. Well, I hope to hang with Matt tomorrow and maybe crash at his place, thats always cool. Bye!

High Hopes!

So, here’s the deal with the whole fiesta bowl trip conflict: The only way I may attend is that my mom has to apologize to my dad for messing up the Christmas schedule (She switched holiday transferring plans between us kids at the last minute). I called my mom, and she said okay, but I here its really hard to aplogize…to your EX. I can see why. Well, I pretty much know I’ll go anyway, because my mom, lucky for us, will do anything to spend her time with my brother and I at the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona. My sister, in turn going to Vegas in February, is also taking a trip up in the mountains here in Idaho with her friends to do some snowmobiling. You may think we are leaving her out, but no. Three reason examplify: 1.)Went on two huge shopping trips to Portland, Oregon without me, brother 2.)Visiting Vegas with her humorous Aunt Kandi in February 3.)What 12-year-old girl would want to stay in the desert for 3 days focusing on nothing but football while we’re there? There ya’ go.

Peace.

Alright, so now my dad is slowly loosening up about the Fiesta Bowl. I mean, my mom’s pissed at him. Like royally pissed. I’m probably going to go though; what sick man would not let his two football-loving sons go to the Fiesta Bowl with their mom (also after she had payed every expense of the trip)? It’s probably just a test of strict rule towards me. I don’t really create tantrums, so that won’t work on me…Oh! and My Nikon D3000, (which now, I don’t have to take a class for, thank god), which I have learned about and studied today, is being put to extensive use! One Word: Crazy.

Alright, where shall I start? This Christmas day has been overly hectic. I woke up in the morning at my mom’s, not too tired, because we actually went to 9:00 p.m. mass instead of the 12:00 service, which was good. I received all of my presents, and one was a ticket to go to the Fiesta Bowl! I was amazed, looking across my piles of polaroid film and newly-canvased pictures. I thought it was going to be a good Christmas, but here’s where it gets crazy. My mom, about an hour after we ate breakfast, developed a kidney stone. She tried to pass it, but she couldn’t. She had to go to the E.R., and we (the kids) had to leave to go to our dad’s house in order for her to go. My sister was freaking out. She did not have one care for my mom’s kidney stone: she absolutely need to pack. But, with horrorous screaming and crying, my brother forcefully takes her out to the car. We ride over to my dad’s, and settle down a little bit. I then tell him I am going to the Fiesta Bowl, and he gives me a blank stare.”Uh, no, your not.” He goes on saying that my mom did not get an “ok” from my dad for that. By the way, my mom had already payed all the expenses needed in order for us to go. Then, I am puzzled. He says that I am only going if my sister comes. Now, me, my brother and my mom were supposed to go to this, and my sister was supposed to go to Vegas on February. So it was okay, also considering that she goes on trips with her aunts all the time. At the end of the conversation, he says “we’ll work it out.” Yeah, right. So, about 45 minutes, we open our presents from my dad and my stepmom. I fortunately upgraded to a Nikon D3000 DSLR. I was so happy. We end up having people over for dinner and dessert, and everyone floods out fast afterwards. Then, I call my mom, and my stepdad, Gene, picks up. he says that he was talking to the doctor, and he would call me later. He called me and I picked up, and my phone dies because of service. After everything, my dad is so angry for some reason and he wants me to take a class to learn stuff about my camera. Like I don’t know enough. He ends up disappointed, and now I’m down here, left with the sadness of my mom, still in the E.R. (she is now getting surgery, because she can’t pass it at all), and the questioning of my dad on this day. Please, God, tell me what is going on…
